Small Games of Chance
The Erie County Bureau of Revenue announces changes to the Small Games of Chance Act:
The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue recently amended the Small Games of Chance Act to provide additional licensing rules and regulations, effective March 3, 2012. Some of the major changes include:
- The annual Small Games of Chance application no longer requires a criminal history record for the organization officers.
- Prize limits have increased and there are new reporting requirements for organizations. For details see the revised Act below.
It is recommended that organizations review the revised Act with their solicitor to be sure they are in compliance with the new standards.
