About MH/ID:
The roles and responsibilities of the MH/ID Program were established by the MH/ID Act of 1966. Erie County MH/ID is regulated via the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) through the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP), the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS), and the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL). Through a contracted provider network, our office administers a broad array of services for individuals and families.

Accessing services:
Public funded Mental Health (MH), Intellectual Disabilities (ID), and Early Intervention (EI) services can be accessed by contacting Erie County Care Management (ECCM) and requesting an intake for MH, ID, or EI services.

ADA Roundtable Meetings:

The purpose of these meetings is to coordinate services for people with disabilities and to implement the Erie County ADA Transition Plan. The meetings are open to anyone who has in interest in ensuring that buildings and programs are accessible to people with disabilities. All meetings start at 2:00 PM at the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (3200 Lovell Place, Erie, PA 16503).
