Welcome to Erie County Planning

Millcreek Township CDBG

Millcreek Township is one of two Erie County municipalities, the other being the City of Erie, which is entitled to receive an annual allocation of CDBG funds from HUD. Millcreek was designated a HUD entitlement in 1998 when its population went over 50,000 persons. The funds are used to undertake activities which address community development and housing needs as identified in the Township’s Five Year Strategic Plan and which principally benefit low-to-moderate income persons.  Millcreek’s program is administered by the Erie County Department of Planning at the request of the township supervisors.
